I'm a brontosaurus, Day 2

8 oz salad, 1/2 cup blackberries, 1/2 cup cherries, one cup grapes, a kiwi, an apple, a banana and about 3/4 cup pineapple. Plus lemon water to stay hydrated. This will last me til I get off work.

Update @ 12:30
The fruit made me feel a bit queasy around 11 and so I think I will make some steel cut oats for the rest of the week. Maybe I will try fruit first and oats once I start to get hungrier.

I am weaning myself off coffee. I had a soy caramel macchiatto on Friday and haven't had any since. I will reserve coffee as an extra special treat. Maybe this will help me feel more rested.

I also need to make some lentils tonight. I may take a look at my mom's lentil recipes. She has an arsenal of them. Seriously, that woman could make anything out of lentils if she put her mind to it. :)

My stomach sounds like a brontosaurus fighting for its life. There is some serious digestion going on down there. Its beginning to freak out my coworkers!

Back to the grind!

I'm a Brontosaurus, Day 1

I am not including breakfast because  I finished Eat to Live after that. But here is my lunch:
Spinach, grated carrot, red onion, red and yellow pepper, cauliflower, avacado. This salad weighs 17.6 oz. I will add a little balsamic vinegar and call it good. Sorry for the grainy quality of the photos, my phone only as a 3mp camera.

This bag of spinach is 2.5lbs from Costco. I didn't think I'd be able to finish it this week, but if I continue on the plan I think I may need to get another one!

I ate and ate until I could eat no more. Funny enough, my jaw hurt so I said I'd had enough, but my stomach is not saying it's overly full or anything. I bet if my jaw were not a weak pansy, I could have packed the rest of it in and still not be overly full! Yay vegetables!

I'm re-reading some parts of Eat to Live on my Nook Color.

I am about to hit the gym for this little gem of a workout from Jamie Eason's LiveFit Workout series:

SHOULDER/ABS:

I might add on the 1/2 hour of elliptical, but I'm not sure. I might just come home since I did the elliptical yesterday.
