A Little Light Exercise

One habit that I want to make second nature is daily exercise. I don't see me ever joining a gym because of the extra costs that would incur. Instead I like to do in home activities.

Last night I did a little before bed light exercise. I did the following in 1 set of five each

  • V crunches
  • Raised leg crunches to target the lower abs
  • Crunches to target the upper abs
  • Will add sit ups to target the middle
  • Scissor crunches for abs and obliques
  • Dive bomber pushups from Bodyrock.tv
  • Leg extensions to excercise the butt
  • Leg extensions and knee raises to excercise more of the butt
  • Leg raises where you lean on your side and raise both your legs off the floor
  • Single leg raises plus other leg raise to target inner thighs
All of those took about half an hour and I was very tired afterward. I did not do them too fast so that I wouldn't raise my heart rate and make it so that I couldn't sleep.

My sister and I are beginning to do the Bodyrock excercises. We did one on Friday and Saturday. I mean one. It was only supposed to last 16 minutes and I couldn't get through all of it because of asthma. I came back the next day and finished the last few sets. It was a really fun workout, but man, it wiped me out that first day.

I'm really looking forward to the one we are doing today, the Red Hot Workout!

  1. If you would like, soon you can excercise with me. It will be time to turn over the garden and put more compost on. Great workout!
