That was the Nook for me until last night.
I was exploring the Barnes and Noble website and I realized you can download their ereader program for free and start getting ebooks on your pc. Of course, I knew this but didn't really know it... I chose not to acknowledge the fact that I could have ebooks without purchasing a pretty little nook.
Why I am not going to purchase the Nook:
- Well, the ereader is a nice little program with a clean interface and if you have an internet connection you can instantly download ebooks onto it.
- I bring my laptop with me to school almost every day.
- There is really no point in getting an item that repeats the job of the laptop that I already have.
- It saves me $260 that I can use toward ebooks themselves.
- If I really hate reading ebooks on my laptop, I told Rick he would have to get me a Nook for graduation.
- I think I can live with using my laptop until graduation just fine.
