Well, the week is off to a really good start!
Last night my friends Ryan, Melanie, Jay, Cassie and Nic and I all went out for a night of trivia and food. We did two different trivia competitions and placed third in the second one at Applebee's! We got a gift certificate for a free dessert and free appetizer. I actually pulled my weight in the competition. :D
I ended up not feeling very well though, because the first joint was so loud it gave me a head ache. My headaches tend to turn into full blown light and sound sensitivity with roiling stomach and nausea to top it off. I'm thinking of buying a set of ear plugs to keep in my purse, just in case.
Yesterday Sandy and I finished out the corset pattern from the fitting we had couple weeks ago. The next step is to cut out the pattern, sew it together and fit the second mockup. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that that one will be good, but I'm not terribly hopeful. I do see a third mockup in the future. *Sigh* Oh well. All I want is to get it finished by the end of February! :D
Today Jenessa and I will be working on building the blankets for Liaisons, which will be very interesting. I will have to post pictures of all my projects once they are finished. I'm excited to get everything finished and see the pretty show.
Mikey and I went to Ruby Tuesdays on Saturday, using the gift card that a mysterious family member from my Dad's side of the family sent me. I had macaroni and cheese with lobster. It was amazing. I also had a Sauza gold margarita. I think I should take a hiatus from drinking. I'm starting to associate it with nausea and that's never a good thing.
Anyways, Jenessa is here now and we have blankets to make. Blankets away! :D
